In 2012, for the first time, Austria has implemented the PLURAL+ initiative on the national level. Young people aged 9 to 25 years were invited to submit their videos on the PLURAL+ themes migration, diversity and social inclusion. PLURAL+ Austria is being implemented by IOM in Vienna in cooperation with the UN Alliance of Civilizations, the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs. On February 27, 2013, the PLURAL+ 2012 Youth Video Festival Austria Awards Ceremony was held as part of the 5th UN Alliance of Civilizations Global Forum at Hofburg in Vienna. A special thank you from the PLURAL+ 2012 Team and IOM Austria to all the young media makers who participated in PLURAL+ 2012 Austria. Your videos are powerful, inspiring and show remarkable talent and commitment to building a more inclusive and cohesive world.
