Jessy Terrero is a Dominican-American filmmaker and executive producer who first gained recognition for his work in the music video industry, creating iconic videos for artists such as Jennifer Lopez, 50 Cent, Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee, Maluma, and Bad Bunny, amassing over 21 billion views collectively.

Terrero, who is considered one of the most influential music video directors in urban culture, transitioned into Film and TV with his first move being the cult classic SOUL PLANE, a film that marked the debut of comedian Kevin Hart and Sofia Vergara.

Wanting to honor his heritage, Terrero started to focus his directing and producing efforts in the Latinx market. He created and directed the Netflix Original NICKY JAM: EL GANADOR. The success of the show led him to a deal with YouTube Originals where he developed BRAVAS, an all-female cast series set in Puerto Rico.

Under his production company Cinema Giants, Jessy continues to develop stories for the international market as well as partnering with major platforms such as Showtime or Apple.

Hanifa Mezoui, PhD, has enjoyed a distinguished career with the United Nations for the past 30 years. In the last ten of those years, she has been Chief of the NGO Section of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) where she has established an impressive record of accomplishments.

Since March 2009 to date, she has been designated as the Permanent Representative to the United Nations and ECOSOC of the “International Association of the Economic and Social Councils and Similar institutions” (AICESIS), IGO in Observer status with ECOSOC.

From September 2011 to September 2012, she joined the Office of the President of the Sixty-Sixth General Assembly as the Special Coordinator for the Third Committee and Civil Society. From 2013 to 2018, she was a Senior Advisor to the UN High Representative of the Alliance of Civilizations, in charge of Humanitarian affairs and Civil Society.

Ms. Hanifa Mezoui holds a Doctorate in French Linguistics, an MA in French Literature, an MA in applied Linguistics and an MA in Business Administration from the University of Aix-en-Provence, France.

Markus Martinez Burman is a visual storyteller and transdisciplinary researcher from Mexico and Sweden. Martinez documents environmental justice issues and explores how visual methodologies can support a path to reconnection with memory, past and community.

As a National Geographic Explorer, Martinez’s projects have focused on supporting youth with reconnection of their territory and nature through the co-production and reflection of the community and personal photo stories.

Martinez’s passion for photography and storytelling has allowed him to perform as a lead and teaching assistant in various National Geographic Photo Camps. Martinez believes that education and youth have the power to change the world.

As a member of INDISproject.org, Martinez co-produced Photovoice: Monkoxi Reconnection with the Indigenous Nation of Lomerio in Bolivia, an in-print photo book compiling the stories and testimonies of youth and the community on protecting their territory and autonomy.

Supreet K. Singh is a writer, director and producer dedicated to promoting gender equity, justice, and safety. As the Co-Founder of Red Dot Foundation, an NGO, she actively works towards these goals.

Supreet is also the Co-Founder of Beyond Black, a social enterprise working with art for social good.

Supreet crafts impactful scripts, and films based on real events, challenging stigmas, and addressing social conflicts. She has authored the poetry book “Wine | Love | Tango”, fearlessly expressing her worldview. In addition, her books “She Is—Women in STEAM” and “She Is – Water Sheroes” celebrate the achievements of women who have long been overlooked and who can serve as role models for young people.

Supreet’s first film ‘Bouddi’ represented India in the French International Film Festival and won her the Best Director and Best Film Award. She also won Best Director for her short film ‘Nirbhaya Mai Asifa Mai’ that spoke for the women and girls we lost to violence. She is currently working on her feature film.

Robert York, a native of New York City who grew up in the suburbs of New Jersey, is an accomplished professional in the film industry.

Robert recent achievements include serving as the Assistant Unit Production Manager on several notable feature films, namely “Rob Peace” (2023), “Música” (2023), and “A Thousand and One” (winner of the 2023 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize).

From 2008 to 2017, Robert led media production and distribution at Scenarios USA. In this capacity, he selected stories written by teenagers from both rural and inner-city areas across the United States and worked with renowned directors to turn them into award-winning short films. The films were made in the writers’ hometowns, involving the local community, and reached millions of viewers annually through major platforms and various prestigious film festivals worldwide.

Robert York’s career in the film industry began in the 1990s, working on independent features in New York City. Among his notable feature film and television credits are “The Electric Company,” “Imaginary Heroes,” “The Quiet,” “SKIN,” “Upright Citizen’s Brigade,” and “Wonder Showzen.”
