Ado Hasanović (Srebrenica, 1986) is a Bosnian film director based in Rome. He graduated in Directing at the Sarajevo Film Academy and later at the prestigious National Film School Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, where he specialized as a film director.

His short films “The Angel of Srebrenica”, “Blue Viking in Sarajevo”, “Mama”, “Breath of Life Srebrenica”, “Pink Elephant”, “Nomophobia” and “Let There be Colour” enjoyed world-wide selections and won many international awards

Since 2015, he is the Art Director of the Mediterranean Short Film Festival The Author’s Passages in Sant’Antioco (Italy). Likewise, he is also the creator of “Cortovisioni – How To Make A Short Film“, a workshop format in which he teaches how to make a short film from the
subject up to the post-production. He is currently finishing his first feature documentary, “My Father’s Diaries”.

Tara Emad

Tara Emad is an Egyptian actress and model. Born to a Montenegrin mother, Tara made her foray into acting with the TV series Al Jamia’a (2011), followed by many hit TV series and films such as Adel Emam’s TV series Saheb El Saa’da (2014), Torab El Mas, El Kowayseen, Marwan Hamed’s The Blue Elephant: Dark Whispers, and the thriller film 122.

She has starred in a number of series, musicals, and films, including the TV drama Bein El Sarayat (2015) and Lam’i El Ott (2017). In 2020, she starred in the musical play Aladdin, along with the romantic series W Neheb Tany Leh (2020), and the short film Samt (Pause). More recently, Tara starred in Setat Beit Al-Maadi, the Arabic version of the successful American series Why Women Kill and Tahqeeq (Investigation), as well as the Arabic version of smash-hit US drama Suits.

Throughout her career, Tara has been an ambassador of several famous brands including Bvlgari and Cartier. She is also Chanel’s first Middle Eastern “Friend of the House” and the ambassador of Juhayna Nuts and Grains and Pepsico’s new initiative “Recycle for Tomorrow”.

Stefano Castro

Stefano Castro is a Colombian-American creative interested in reframing cultural narrative through film, photography, and digital art. Born and raised in Englewood, NJ, he has worked on multiple films and photo projects, spanning documentaries, experimental shorts, music videos, and photo series.

Working at the intersection of social and aesthetic representation for underrepresented groups, Castro is interested in exploring different ways of collaborating with artists, institutions, and communities to share meaningful and nuanced Latinx stories.

He was recently named a National Geographic Young Explorer to develop a project he calls El Parque Collective (EPC). EPC is an intensive art program that offers financial resources, creative mentorship, and academic support to Latinx Youth who are interested in exploring their relationships to their identities, histories, and communities through visual arts.

Viviane Ogou Corbi

Human and Civil Rights Activist, Founder of Puerta de África

Viviane Ogou is a civil rights activist and academic researcher specialized in International Relations and International Security, with a strong focus on African affairs and EU-Africa relations and peace operations and conflict resolution in Mali and the Sahel.

She is the founder and president of the organization Puerta de África, whose mission is to improve relations between Africa and Europe through its youth, promote mutual knowledge, and provide the tools for young people of African descent and residents of both continents to co-lead processes of social transformation.

Viviane has been involved in municipal and regional processes through her role as Youth Delegate for Spain at the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe (2020-2021) and as a member of the United Cities and Local Governments Youth Caucus (2022). She contributes to the anti-racist movement in Spain, and to raising awareness of the protection of the human rights of migrants. She is also focused on the process of reflection on models of sustainable border management and the promotion of migrants as agents of change.

She has participated in more than 50 conferences, public appearances, and training over the last two years, both at local and national level and in international bodies.

Walid Alnabahin

Walid Alnabahin is a Palestinian researcher on social and development issues with a focus on youth and women empowerment. With over 13 years of experience; Walid has worked in various Palestinian non-profits on human rights advocacy and the promotion of Palestinian rights and identity through the use of arts and new media.

Walid has contributed to establishing and supporting youth-led initiatives to shed light on youth and children issues in the Gaza Strip using music, arts, and film-making. He led the creation of the “Gaza mobile film” festival and MediaShow initiative to promote the use of digital arts among youth to voice their minds and express their views.

Walid also founded a number of community-based organizations to serve children and youth. One of which is the Palestinian Sports Academy which focuses on girls’ access to sports. He is volunteering with Azhaar Palestine for Child Development which runs the only specialized school in Gaza Strip that serves children with learning difficulties.

Véronique Rankin is the Executive Director of Wapikoni Mobile. She holds a Master’s degree and a postgraduate diploma in public administration. Throughout her career, Ms. Rankin has worked primarily with Aboriginal organizations and the federal government.

Cultural safety and the narrative sovereignty of Aboriginal peoples are central to her approach to organizational management.

She participated in the creation of the Aboriginal organization Puamun Meshkenu and served as its Executive Director. She also sits on the Board of Directors of Menuentakuan Productions, the Offices of the International Youth of Quebec and is an associate researcher of the Observatory of Public Autochthonous Administrations of the National School of Public Administration.

Razid Season

Razid Season is a Bangladeshi filmmaker based in New York. He is an independent filmmaker by trade, and also runs a non-profit film production company Image Maker Films Inc. He has an MFA in Film from CUNY. He has received a number of awards and recognition for his films, including NYMAN Award (2018 and 2019) and Best Director Award from SAIFF (2020).

His latest film Kaddish, focusing on human spirit, has premiered in more than 45 film festivals around the globe. He is interested in making films that deal with humanitarian issues, and wants his films to be a tool to speak, represent, and fight for those minority communities whose voices are not heard in the mainstream media. He is currently working on the script of his first feature film.
