“A Letter to My Sister” addresses gender discrimination in Afghanistan, focusing on a brother’s frustration over the unjust treatment of girls. Due to the current government’s restrictions, Afghan girls are barred from attending school, leading to widespread depression and forcing them into responsibilities beyond their age. The video highlights the profound impact of this discrimination, not only on the girls but also on families, many of whom are compelled to migrate as a result. Through this story, the video sheds light on the far-reaching consequences of denying girls the right to education.
