“White Dot” tells the story of a young blind woman who became the first cinematic videographer with total blindness, redefining visual storytelling through sound, emotion, and sensory experience. The film is directed by another blind artist—a sensory photographer and filmmaker—who shares shares similar journey as the first visually impaired student in the Faculty of Mass Communication (English Section) at Cairo University. Through this tribute, “White Dot” explores the power of accessibility, creativity, and the invisible threads that connect those who see the world differently.
