Minara is too young to be a wife. Set in the heart of the world’s largest refugee camp—Kutupalong in Bangladesh—this poignant short film offers an intimate glimpse into the life of a young Rohingya girl navigating the harsh realities of displacement. Created during a workshop led by The One Minutes Jr. and UNICEF Bangladesh, the film is part of a series of autobiographical stories crafted by young refugees. Through Minara’s eyes, we witness the emotional weight of growing up in a shelter rather than a home, and the societal pressures that force childhood to end too soon. “Too Young To Be A Wife” is a powerful testament to resilience and a call to amplify the voices of Rohingya youth.
